This year is going to be BLOOMIN' good for young people living in and around Alton. Apart from Alton & District Youth Council's Arts Week which, if I say so myself is going to be pretty brilliant, there's also all of our ENVIRONMENTAL plans for Alton in Bloom, the new YOUTH CAFE and providing more events and activities for young people. READ ON!

Alton in Bloom 2007 ADYC and it's troops have already blitzed the River Wey for two Sundays last Autumn/Winter, but now we've set our sights on a nice shiny cup for this year's Alton in Bloom competition. Join us on April 1st for a BIG SCALE clean up!
The Garden Shed Our affectionately named Youth Cafe is well in the stages of being a reality. The site we'd like to use is in Nursery Road, three minutes out the back of Alton College and two minutes from the Station! The business plan has been written and sent off, and currently we are in negotiations about rental fees etc. PLUS we're applying for money so that if all goes to plan, the Garden Shed could be opening in the summer of 2007.
